Sustainability

Our goal is to achieve profitable growth in a more sustainable way by developing products that are beneficial for people while minimizing negative impacts on the climate, environment, and society. We continuously strive to find solutions that make us better. As an international company, we are committed to taking social responsibility and contributing to more sustainable development at all levels. This requires us to think innovatively, change the way we do things, and adapt to new working methods and partnerships.

Packaging

In 2020, we began the process of changing our packaging to more environmentally friendly materials.

We want to help our customers sort their waste more easily:

  • We have switched to recyclable bags (monomaterial) for The Glow™ and The Beauty Pearls™. Previously, the capsules were in traditional blister packs that had to be sorted as residual waste due to the combination of plastic and aluminum in the same packaging.
  • We have launched a more environmentally friendly refill solution for The Solution™. This is offered to all customers with their second package:

- 56 daily doses (vs. 28 in the standard shipment)

- Recyclable bag

- New shipment every eighth week

- Same product - slightly cheaper, with more environmentally friendly packaging and less frequent deliveries to customers.

  • We label all products with the required environmental markings to make it easier for our customers to sort the packaging correctly.
  • We use only FSC-certified cardboard in our product boxes. The FSC label means that all materials come from forests evaluated by an independent third party, confirming they are managed according to FSC’s strict social and environmental standards.

Suppliers and Raw Materials

Since we source materials from different parts of the world, we want to ensure that all our suppliers, regardless of country, adhere to our ethical guidelines (Code of Conduct). All production must comply with internationally recognized requirements related to human rights, labor conditions, environment, and anti-corruption.

Charity

We are part of a larger group that believes in giving back. We are a proud supporter of the non-profit organization Zulufadder, which focuses on education and sustainable projects for children and youth in South Africa. The organization was founded by Norwegian actress Mari Maurstad in 2005, and NutraQ has been the main sponsor since 2010. Zulufadder has become part of our corporate culture through employees' engaged fundraising campaigns, professional support, and other activities.

Additionally, all employees have four hours available for volunteer work each year.
